Warning signs are usually present when your transmission is starting to go out and needs to be repaired. Here’s a list of 6 of the most common transmission signals/signs that will tell you if your transmission is going bad.
Gears Shifting Irregularly
Irregular gear shifting symptoms include: Car hesitating when put into gear, transmission comes of gear when being driven, gear shifting randomly, and strong jerks when gear shifting.
Grinding Or Shimmying Between Gears
If you hear grinding noises while gear shifting (in a manual transmission) or a shaking/shimmying sensation when gear shifting in (your automatic transmission), either could mean your transmission is having issues.
